The Sagittarius A Green Hydrogen/Ammonia project is proposed by Solargen Energy Corporation and will be located in Lamu County, Kenya. The project aims to produce green hydrogen and ammonia for marine applications, port equipment, and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). The production facility will be powered by a hybrid system consisting of a 170MWp Solar PV system and a 30MW wind farm.

This green hydrogen project positions Lamu as a key player in the global energy transition, leveraging renewable resources for sustainable fuel production and export.
